It will take about 1-2 weeks to complete the account opening (Steps ① to ③ below).
* It may take about 2 weeks or longer, if there is a defect in the submitted application.

Sign up via Sendy App

Download Sendy App, enter customer information and upload required documents

No Account opening fee and annual fee. Feel free to apply ♪
Please check the recommended system requirements before downloading the app.
After downloading the app, follow the instruction on the screen and register your profile.

Conditions to apply

Individuals who have resided in Japan and are 16 years of age or older as of the application date
Customers who have a smartphone that can use the Sendy app and can contact us by email

Open an account using your own smartphone!

Sendy app is only available on the smartphone used to create your account. If you are planning to change your smartphone, or if you are not using your own smartphone such as smartphone of a family member, you must need to proceed to account settings again using your own smartphone.

Documents to prepare for application

Prepare the necessary documents for identity verification.*Please check the following before you submit your application.・Must be within the valid period.・Current name and residential address are noted

For foreign nationals

Residence card or Special Permanent Resident Certificate

Submit one of the following

・Health Insurance Card
・Driver's License
・Residence Certificate (issued within 3 months)
・My Number Card

For Japanese

Submit two of the following

・Health Insurance Card
・Driver's License
・My Number Card
・Residence Certificate (issued within 3 months)

Submit your My Number documents

We ask customers making overseas remittances to submit My Number documents.
Please submit your My Number Card after activating Sendy account.

Receive your QR code^※

You will receive the QR code^* required to complete the registration at your home address. If you have not received the QR code* after 2 weeks or more, please check if either of the following has been sent to your home address.*QR Code is a registered trademark of Denso Wave Incorporated.

If a delivery notice was in your mailbox

If a delivery notice was in your mailbox, then please follow the procedure to request for redelivery according to the instruction in the delivery notice.

If you receive an email informing you of an incomplete documentation

Your account has not completed the account opening process due to unclear image of submitted documents. Please resubmit through the URL indicated in the mail.
